EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Perseverance
God’s word tells us many times that perseverance, while it may not be fun, is good for us… I’ll describe perseverance as “the ability to see a problem or a situation through to its resolution despite difficulties faced along the way.”
It’s not hard to persevere when things go your way, but when the road becomes rocky, we need strength to continue through the rough terrain.
God’s word says,…” suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
Hope can drive anyone a far distance, don’t you agree?
In Hebrews 12:1, we are commanded to stay the course God puts us on.
“And let us run with perseverance  the race marked out for us.” (Hebrews 12:1)
We know that the enemy can try to wear us down or discourage us while we’re trying to move forward.  If this applies to you, ask God to help you stand firm until the enemy is defeated,  whichever way he is attacking you.
The enemy could be attacking your mind with doubts about your abilities to do something huge, or you could be experiencing sickness or disease in your physical body.
The enemy can attack our decision to accomplish something that may reap benefits for others in the name of Jesus.
Whatever it may be, ask God for strength to see you through each of the circumstances you are faced with.
David never stopped until the job was finished,  and neither should we. We should pray until we receive an answer. Go forward, press on, YOU CAN DO THIS.
This is for YOU!
When we persevere in prayer, it allows God’s POWER  to flow through us so we can withstand whatever pressures are coming our way.
Remember, with God, you can eliminate issues that come your way, and while God assists you, He gives you the perseverance to attain the result. That very result may change the world you live in right now. Never underestimate the POWER of God or the strength only He can give to persevere.
God is with YOU, and with Him arming you with strength, you will push forward. You will have victory.
