EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Sexual immorality is saturating our world. Let us all be aware there is no way out of sexual immorality without consequences. Many of you can share stories of the painful heartache resulting from sexual sin, I know I can!
If you read my story in Tears to Triumph, you will see my consequences of sexual sin were not easy to go through. My price to pay was high. Even as I walk in freedom and forgiveness today and as I serve in ministry here, tears can still come at times because of painful regret.
Consequences are not an easy thing to deal with, they can be haunting to our soul. God warns us against this sin so strongly in His Word because He knows the consequences of sexual sins are lethal.
Consequences of sexual sin invade the soul. The price is high. The force against us is strong! We even see children that are facing this evil, we see it in teenagers, young adults, and in marriages. The bombardment of temptation is everywhere. Ladies, we must fight!!!
God’s way for our lives is to live in sexual purity. Your armor must be put on for such a battle against our bodies. You are to remain pure daughters of God!
God desires us to live in sexual purity always. We must deny sexual sin at every attempt it surfaces.
God’s word says, “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (1 Cor. 6:8)
The body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. (1 Cor. 6:13)
God promises a way of escape from this temptation! (1 Corinthians 10:13.)
If you don’t escape this sin, or if you live complacent with this sin in your life not releasing it to God through repentance and change, it will bring forth death. (James 1:14-15).
These are strong words but I’m compelled by God to share them with you. These are God’s Words from scripture.
I pray we all would please heed the warning. Some of our ladies are struggling through this. My heart aches for them because I know the temptation is around them and fierce!
Please understand, God is faithful. He will help you, but you MUST put action on your faith! You must STOP. No more excuses. Please read 1 Corinthians 10:13.
We should all be in prayer for any of our sisters who are dealing with this pounding sin that destroys.
