EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We hope that we can say we all have a positive outlook on life but honestly, we are all dealing with some pretty hard stuff in our day-to-day lives. Yes, life is difficult. We all need someone to believe in that can handle some of our personal worries.
God is that Someone we can trust. He is able to do the impossible for us when we lose hope.
Job was immersed in his troubles and trials and made an astonishing declaration to God in the midst of his suffering. He didn’t go to God after he tried to figure it all out. He went while it was happening.
I had an encounter just recently where I asked God to give me a sign of hope. He knew I needed it. Right in the midst of a situation that has been years for me in the waiting, something was revealed. God knew I was in need of a glimmer of hope. Within 24 hours of me crying out to God asking for “hope,” God gave me a sign with huge flashing lights that He heard me! I knew it was Him because I prayed for it with urgency 24 hours earlier after re-listening to one of my podcast interviews.
Often times we bail on having hope and unfortunately, we give off wrong signals to those watching our lives that our faith is weak. We know we should have faith, and we may have that head knowledge about us, but where is our heart with hope?
We need to announce to the world as we go through life’s trials that we serve a God that can do all things. That means yes, He can do anything.
No detail of lies the enemy gives us can take away our hope, can it? I pray not.
You are a daughter of the King. Be a hope giver to others. Show this strength when others watch you go through a storm.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” ( Phil 4:13)
Be a hope giver. Lean into God for strength, ask Him for hope. Ask Him for your sign. He delivers in His time.
