EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Hope to see you at the Renew Event today on livestream through the Women World Leaders Facebook group at 9:30 or in person at Keiser Palm Beach 9 am Eastern.
Spanish translation to follow
Losing someone we love is devastating, we can feel that God betrayed us or did not answer our prayers for their healing.
God persists on drawing us closer to Him and even in the most devastating moments, we can experience,  God is drawing us nearer to Himself.
Although we may struggle with spending time in His word when we grieve or seek out His promises to gain perspectives,  what we may not know is that by doing so, these things will gradually and steadily change our emotions and allow us to re-focus.
We can change from looking backward, wrapped up and re-living the past of what “we” wanted, consumed with grief, or look forward to the future and embrace what God’s word tells us and look for His promises to us that are true. He holds everything together in His hands.
“You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.” (John 16:20)
Ask God’s help to keep your hope alive.  Ask Him to heal your hurting heart and give you a fresh way to cope with life after loss.  He has so many promises in His word to strengthen you through the hurting of your heart.
“I hold you by your right hand-I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, “Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” ( Isaiah 41:13)
Whenever you need His help and comfort,  go to His Word.
” Let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16)
Let us pray together that God delivers you from the place of pain if you are stuck there, to His love and everlasting mercies which are new every morning.
