You Are Qualified
The world constantly measures qualifications. It looks at résumés, accomplishments, education, experience, and credentials. It tells us we must earn our place, prove our worth, and meet specific standards before we can be considered qualified.
But God operates differently.
Colossians 1:12-13 reminds us to give thanks to the Father, “who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.”
Notice who does the qualifying.
God.
Not your past. Not your failures. Not your achievements. Not other people’s opinions.
Too often, we disqualify ourselves from what God has called us to do. We compare ourselves to others and conclude we are not talented enough, experienced enough, or worthy enough. Yet if God has called you, He has already qualified you.
His qualification is rooted in redemption.
Through Christ, we have been rescued from darkness and brought into His Kingdom. We are no longer defined by our mistakes, shortcomings, or insecurities. We are defined by our identity as sons and daughters of the King.
The enemy would love nothing more than to convince you to leave the table before receiving what God has prepared for you. He wants you to doubt your calling and question your inheritance.
Don’t listen. Stay at the table. God has already spoken.
You are qualified—not because of what you have done, but because of what Christ has done.
Walk boldly in the calling God has placed on your life. Receive the inheritance He has prepared for you. Trust His voice over every other voice.
When God qualifies you, no one can disqualify you. And that includes you.
