EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
When tragedy happens, it’s normal to feel like life comes to a complete standstill. Our world crashes in on top of us and we freeze in place being stunned with such heaviness. It could be anything in each of our lives that paralyze, striking out at us at times we are not prepared.
It’s normal for your life to come to a complete halt while you grapple for thoughts at these times. I have experienced these tragic times myself and don’t wish them on anyone. I may take days and not be able to get out of my pajamas when issues hit! These times are difficult and It’s ok to pause a moment…
When we just can’t see the breakthrough in a situation and it’s hard for us to imagine that the future could be any different from now, healing and restoration are happening my friends.
You won’t always feel the same way if you go to God with the whole thing and leave it with Him, I promise you there will be an end. God’s promises are true and those are what you and I must cling to.
Don’t try to get around the suffering, let God get His arms around you! You will learn so so much through the difficult times in your life.
Take moments with God. If you walk step by step with Him through it all, your pain will actually subside. Reach up and grasp the hand of your Heavenly Father.
Your Father wants to comfort you and shoulder your grief. Even if your well of tears does not seem to run dry, God’s presence with you will allow you to walk through the river of grief to the other side. God will provide enough light for your next step. Trust Him. I’m living proof that where He is, I am comforted. I have learned from every tragedy that has brought pain that He is there to hear my cries.
“God’s tracks, take us to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss; that’s where He restores and revives my life.”
(Psalm 23:2-3 TPT)
“Draw close to God and He will draw close to you!” (James 4:8)
I pray this helps you.
