Today’s monologue devotion: from Donna Clare, United Kingdom
There are times in life when we feel alone, like no one understands us and we are being judged by others. We can feel like an outcast, like no one really sees us. But Jesus sees us, He notices us.
When we come to Jesus, we don’t have to have it all together. He sees us, every moment of every day and He knows us even better than we know ourselves. When you feel like no one cares – remember Jesus died for you. He chose you to belong to Him and He loves you just as you are at this moment. You don’t need to have it all together to be chosen. Jesus accepts you and calls you to Him. You belong to Him.
Jesus wants to use you like He did the Samaritan woman, because that’s the power of transformation; she went from no one talking to her to everyone listening to what she had to say!
Make time to encounter Jesus and watch what He will do and how He will use you. You were born for such a time as this!
You are loved and cherished like no other and He has special plans just for you. Go, just as you are to the One who knows you the best, and let Him embrace you and hold you close.
