Forgiveness doesn’t make the other person right; it makes you free. I struggle to see the amount of unforgiving people surrounding those we love. It’s everywhere lately. Bitterness and brokenness become evident, and the damage is far-reaching. We all have unforgiveness in our lives somehow; if it’s not with you, it’s someone you know or love. Unforgiveness hurts; it destroys.
Forgiving is trusting that God is the God of justice and acknowledging He knows the truth. He is the only one who knows the whole story that can move to bring resolution to a situation in His time.
“The Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him (Isaiah 30:18)
We will be blessed if we confess unforgiveness to Him and pray to be delivered from it. Don’t hold on to things of the past, and allow bitterness to grow inside you. Get it out, and remove it quickly! Ladies, if you’re a Christ follower, it does not belong in your heart!
Don’t be bound and tethered to the past, ladies; pray to be that person who can say “I forgive you” or pray for others to say “I forgive you” whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Bitterness and unforgiveness can become a wall between God and us and hinder our prayers. We don’t have time for that. There is so much praying we must do for our world! Forgive and walk in the true freedom of forgiveness in your heart!❤
