Have you ever noticed a photo that shows the subject clear and the background blurry? That’s what happens when disappointment clouds our perspective. Everything around us becomes blurry.
How many times are you ready to make a solid decision and all of the sudden things happen around you that take your mind to different places? Before long, you are confused and many things fill your head with uncertainty.
The enemy knows exactly what will cloud our vision. He wants to distract us with everything around us becoming scattered.
We need to consciously bring things back into focus before God!
Notice what is happening around you that may be getting out of hand. Stop. Look up. Thank Jesus for everything He has equipped you to do for His glory. Having the attitude of gratitude each day will bring things surrounding you into focus. It will heal your soul and restore perspective on how you view things. Not always will it be easy, the devil is ruthless, but God will keep you focused on His ways as you trust His Word.
Put up a boundary over your life that the enemy can not cross or cloud up. Reset your focus on the intended subject and think clearly to what God has intended in that moment.
” I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 16:7-8)
