EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
This year we embarked on a journey to prepare as a ministry to hold our first event of prayerfully many more as we head forward. It’s a “post covid” event since we’ve not gathered as a large ministry since before covid.
We anticipate this to spark new beginnings and ask you to pray for this as we prepare.
Things are looking different since we met as a large group before covid, so we prayed and came up with the name for this event which is “Renew.” Why Renew? Because we feel this will be a great fresh start spiritually in many ways for women.
Many things have changed in our world since we’ve dealt with covid. Life seemed to be different, less strenuous, and fearful. We see new ways to do things now, and we also see a restoration process has begun. Major healing has to take place in individual lives to cope with what happened during covid. Many have changed the way they worship some stay at home or visit small groups and many don’t worship at all anymore.
For any restoration process to begin, you must reflect back and deal with what caused the pain.
It’s much like that in our Christian life with Jesus. Our sinful life was painful pre-Jesus. It was one way when we were dead in our sin. It was dark, and gloomy and it left many scars, right?
When we take personal responsibility for our past by confessing our sins, something new happens. God creates in us a clean heart, He “renews” a right spirit within us. (Psalm 57:1-12) and now the restoration can begin.
May we all desire a need for a new start. If you have not uncovered your sin before God, please pause to think about why you haven’t. He can renew you and cover you with forgiveness.
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”
(Proverbs 28:13)
Renew! What a great way to begin. God wants to renew you and we have a great place you could come to experience “RENEW.”
