True Love
Let’s talk about love… real love.
For a long time, I didn’t know what love was.
My life had been filled with abuse, pain, and lies. I believed that was my identity—that I was only worth what I had been through.
I was exhausted. Hopeless. Ready to give up. In fact, I had made the decision to end my life.
But God…
In one unexpected moment, a small invitation—and a quiet voice—shifted everything.
“Call that guy.”
I didn’t understand it at the time, but that voice was God. That one act of obedience changed the direction of my life. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” —Psalm 147:3 (ESV)
What started as fear turned into healing. What started as doubt turned into love. And ultimately, that love led me to Jesus. Because while I’m grateful for the love I found in my husband… it still doesn’t compare to the love of God.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” —John 3:16
That is true love.
A love that heals.
A love that restores.
A love that sets captives free.
Friend, no matter what you’ve been through—your story is not over.
God has a plan for your life. His love is pursuing you. And He is ready to restore every broken place. “We love because He first loved us.” —1 John 4:19 (ESV)
