VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Called to Him, Not a Place

Sometimes we think our calling is about a place…
But what if it’s really about a person?

I once believed God was leading me to something specific—maybe even someone specific. But what He was actually doing was preparing me for a moment I didn’t expect.
A conversation. A divine appointment. A chance to share Jesus.

When a woman asked me, “What does Christianity mean to you?” I silently prayed, asking the Holy Spirit to give me the words.
And He did.

I shared my story—how Jesus changed my life, how His grace saved me, how relationship with Him is everything. Then she told me… she was Jewish. And in that moment, I realized—this was the assignment.
This was the “why.”

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer… for the hope that you have.” —1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

We are always on mission. It may not look like traveling across the world. It might look like a conversation at a coffee shop. A moment at a concert. A simple question that opens a door.
“How can they believe… if they have not heard?” —Romans 10:14 (NIV)

Here’s what I’ve learned: People are often more ready to hear the Gospel than we are willing to share it. So whether you’re sent across the globe—or right back into your everyday life—you are called.

Not just to a place…
But to Him.
And to share Him with others.
