EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Psalms 86:4-7: “Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.”
Where and what is everyone’s joy in if not by wanting to be loved, accepted, having success or receiving everything you desire? God wants to give us all good things, but we must follow His plan for us in obedience by living out His word, seeking His advice and being the righteous children that He has deemed us to be.
God promises that His blessings will materialize if we follow Him. This is so lovingly stated in Psalms 128:1-2: “Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to Him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”
Our Father is faithful and just and will not hesitate to shower us with His mercy and grace so that we are covered with His compassion and assistance, displaying His virtue and righteousness.
If we represent His perfect image and exhibit His purpose in a way that others will understand, we will experience the great joy of being a disciple and being loved by God.
