Our great God is a reliable God. The Bible includes many verses that say God is reliable, including 1 Corinthians 1:9, Psalm 33:4, and Deuteronomy 7:9. It’s a great study to read these and understand you need never worry when you look to God for reassurance.
1 Corinthians 1:9
“God is faithful, reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise.”
Psalm 33:4
“For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.”
Deuteronomy 7:9
“The LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments.”
Exodus 34:6–7
“The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”
2 Timothy 2:11–13
“If we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.”
1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
AND…it does not stop there. We can go on and on about the faithfulness and reliability we can count on from our loving, caring God. He is your Father who is there for you always, and you can forever trust that He is reliable for you!!!
Today, as you head out into the world, take this with you… There is One Person in whom you should place “all” your trust, ever! He is the only reliable person who has your back, always and without doubt. Jesus Christ is the way, the Truth and the Life! Amen!
