EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE
Do we as Christ followers accomplish what we start when we enter into a mission for God? It is so important to set out with prayer when we move to accomplish something big for Jesus. We can’t accomplish it in our own strength; it’s just not possible, especially if it’s done for God. He sees, He knows, and He wants to be involved.
The word “accomplish” in the Bible in reference to Christ means that He alone fulfilled God’s plan and completed His mission. His death removed the guilt of our sins and the wrath of God and provided forgiveness. His death delivered us from captivity in sin. Why wouldn’t we ask His help to accomplish our tasks?
He was the greatest accomplishment as Jesus’ death defeated satan and the powers of darkness! It allowed us to be set apart and made holy to accomplish anything we set out to do when we included Christ!
Be certain you include God in your start of the day, throughout your day and finish with Him. He needs to be all-encompassing to accomplish your goals in the right ways. God made a way to accomplish what sin disrupted. He is in complete control over everything we do when we give Him room.
Yes, the most significant takeaway is of Christ’s accomplishment and knowing God is faithful in keeping His promises and bringing His plans to fruition.
As women of faith, we can participate in Christ’s accomplishment by trusting in Him, repenting of our sins, and living a life pleasing to Him and desiring to do God’s will. Amen.
