EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We all have determination, and how we use it is an incentive or a deterrent.
Ezra, in the Bible, had been chosen by God to be a leader and was determined to be an example for Israel during a time of turmoil.
“Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel.” ( Ezra 7:10)
Some of us are determined to do things that have purpose and meaning, while some of us are determined to push our own agenda that has no value or meaning in God’s kingdom realm. It’s just us maintaining our own desires and wanting control.
There are three things we should be “determined” to focus on from reading God’s Word…
* to study God’s Word
* to obey God’s Word
* to teach God’s Word.
What can we be determined to do today with God’s Word in hand and in our hearts?
I encourage you to be a “lighthouse example” wherever you go today and be determined to make a difference this very day!
