EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
One of the biggest obstacles faced in prayer life is discouragement. It means to be completely without courage. Many of us lack the courage needed to get through our days. Life is difficult.
We can see this in a broken marriage, a family member who won’t speak to us, a rebellious child, a chronic illness, large debt, and the list goes on with long-term problems that tempt us to wonder, what’s the use?
How many times do we throw our hands up in the air and say, forget it…or forget them…?
Ugh!!! No, no, no! We must never give up. Your life has value no matter how discouraged you may become…
Truth: we can find our encouragement in the Lord!!! He is there. Please seek Him, He will be found! Please, don’t ever give up.
(Jeremiah 29:13)
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
The more we are attracted to our Lord and Savior, the less we will focus on discouragement by other things we can’t control. God is in control. We need to understand this, know it, and most definitely believe it wholeheartedly. He has your back and He has mine.
Let’s get busy and stay focused…why?, because the Lord is coming soon! This is a statement to recite to ourselves daily. He is coming, He is coming again!
Pray with excitement each day. The Lord will take care of you!
“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who makes the storm clouds.
He gives showers of rain to us and plants of the field to everyone.” (Zachariah 10:1)
This scripture should put smiles on our faces.
Today, I’m praying over each of you who are discouraged and brokenhearted, I’m asking God for your healing and for the freshness of the morning to wash over you at this moment. God knows who you are and He loves you so much.
