EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

When we are feeling pressured by the world because of our love for Jesus, and other people don’t feel quite the same way we do, we need to keep in mind that these feelings of opposition can help us to be even more like Jesus.

“If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world.” (John 15:18-19)

In our growing pains, to be like Jesus, we have to go through some things that Jesus went through on His walk in this world. It can include things like loneliness, discouragement, and more. Did we ever ask ourselves the question, Why would God spare us when He didn’t spare His own Son? He told us this world would not be easy. He also said that we would face trials and tribulations. But we can take heart because Jesus overcame the world.

Our Faith is like a muscle that is growing and being stretched, strained, and tested. If we don’t ever work our muscle with weight or trial, it will never grow. It is just like our faith not growing; some of the strongest people we can look up to in the world are those who have their faith tested the most.

“Your Faith is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold. Though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.” (1 Peter 1:7)

We have to believe that God is going to bless any of us who are persecuted for living for Him. It says so in His Word. He blesses those who are doing right. He says the Kingdom of heaven is theirs.

Always remember to share your faith with gentleness and respect, and one beautiful day, you will be rewarded for it in heaven.

“God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of heaven is theirs. God bless us you when people move you in, persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven.”(Matthew 5:10-12)
