EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Running around being busy is the new state of living for so many people. Are you living busy or are you living abundantly?
Being in ministry, I pay close attention to fellow Christ-followers. I can notice a difference between those living abundant full lives and those who live “busy” lives. (I wrote a coaching book on this, Fuel For Life… Abundant Living Through Daily Coaching)
I have tendencies to be one of those busy people but I can catch myself when this happens and abide back in the presence of Jesus as I get my priorities straight.
The abundant lives are full of fruit and full of the Spirit. They are joy-filled, faith-filled, and full of love no matter what happens around them. That is who I want to be and strive to be.
Those who are busy are usually rushing, racing, and oftentimes stressing about everything because they don’t have enough time. I do not want to be this person, nor do I want to complain about being this person. These types of people who are chaotic and busy are not usually connected to the power source. They are too busy.
I can relate to the latter but I am now so conscientious of my way of living and want to live in the presence of my King and if I get too chaotic then  I bring it before God and ask Him for help where and when I need it.
Before it gets out of hand, by asking for God’s guidance, this will eventually bring you back to the abundant living lifestyle you need but obedience to Jesus and His Word is necessary.
We need to tap into God Himself for strength. We can find that through prayer and reading the Word. We need to prioritize time with Him in His presence. Know your limitations and don’t exceed them because you are not superwoman. You are a daughter of God and He wants you to live the abundant life He has called you to live with joy unspeakable.
You are a vessel God delights to fill but how can He fill you if you are spilling out the stress, toils, and turmoil of a hectic life all over the place?
The divine supply He wants to fill you with is in His presence when you are abiding in Him. It’s there you’ll find the abundance of His powerfully at work in your life. God can do the impossible through you one grace step at a time. Slow down and fill up with Jesus. Awaken your heart to the joy of Jesus and don’t miss the life of faith.
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches.” (John 15:4-5)
Amen to God’s truth.
