EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Have you ever asked a person who seems to be joy-filled why they are always so full of contentment? I have! And it never ceases to amaze me that the answers I receive often have to do with having Jesus in their heart and being alive another day on this earth.
Before I had Jesus living in my heart, I would fight back against my fluttering emotions. My concerns about my future were a constant battle. Would I wake up to a day dealing with a type of depression over things I could not change? Yes, I did. My hope waned because of things I would strive to do in my own power; I lacked the ability to control the circumstances around me, so I allowed myself to take on the weight of the world.
What I needed back then was to draw closer to the God who would not desert me in tough times. I met Him full-on. He became my source of POWER and spoke into me His Words of TRUTH from the scriptures, and He never left.
God understands that sometimes our anxieties or depression can put us in a place of complete grief. But He provided His Son, Jesus Christ, to each of us. He is the antidote for our suffering!
“For this is how much God loves the world-that He gave his one and only Son, unique Son, as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish, but experience everlasting life.” (John 3:16 TPT)
No matter what, anxieties, trials, temptations, or pain we suffer from, we can be confident in the hope God extends to us. ❣️
