Meditation is often thought of as a way to bring peace and calmness to a body. It is a practice of focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity to train oneself to be stable.

In the Bible, however, “meditation” refers to various practices involving God and His Word- spending time contemplating and praying with Him. 

The ultimate effect of biblical meditation is to draw closer to God, transforming your life so you can be more effective as a believer. 

“Study this Book instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” (Joshua 1:8)

May our God of  peace bring hope to your soul as you sit in His presence, meditating on Him and His Word.
