EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Did you ever try looking at a difficult day with appreciation that you’re experiencing it? It seems a little weird, but challenges you encounter can be used to build confidence and knowledge if you handle them properly.
God is with you to help you through every challenge you face day to day. I look back on my life and see how much different it is now- versus back then when I looked at life as though it was crashing in around me.
Now I face tumultuous times as growing, maturing, learning experiences in faith for me. It helps me with helping others to grow like I did. I can then encourage them from a godly perspective from the difficulties He got me through.
If you tend to keep crying over spilled milk, change your perspective. Say, “That was then, this is now, God, please show me.” Whatever your situation, it could be turned around by asking God, “Will You please show me how to go on?”
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
The basis of your confidence level will change the more you rely on God for your strength. I know when I can barely function because I’m exhausted, a change in perspective helps me re-focus on going further. I could be dead, BUT GOD. He chose to keep me alive today. I’m happy about that, so I’m going to press on and press in through the hard work!
In every situation, think and ask God, “What’s next, Lord? Show me what I need to know.”
