EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“We love because he first loved us.” (John 4:19)
Accusations against us from family can be brutal. We have all had our share of what is dished out by those we love. Can we overcome the cutting remarks by those who fail us and then release them to a life of prayer and intercession for them?
When we pray for those who have wronged us, we allow God the control He says belongs to Him.
Refuse the inferiority complex you may have developed. Cast down what people try to inflict on you that causes insecurities.
Embrace your authority in Christ! You are seated with Him. You have a place at His table of grace. You have nothing to be ashamed of when you are alive in your Savior.
It has taken me years of delving into God’s Word and hiding it inside my heart to combat the lies of the enemy. I asked Jesus to make me brave, to stand on truth and stand up to false accusations. But I had to ask for help to do this all with love. That is the challenge.
Although God heals us instantaneously, we still have to practice our loving behavior in front of those who accuse us or wrong us.
Never give up trying. Never stop believing.
“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 1:9)
