EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

“But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brother’s.” (Luke 22:32)

Many times we can endure hardship, face temptation, and even act faithlessly, but ultimately we have the ability to be “God’s instruments” and do great and mighty things. God has a plan for you.

Who will perform when they are feeling weak?

Our faith needs to stay strong. Faith is like the foundation of a house. If the foundation gives way, the house will crumble. Our faith must stay solid and strong, praying that our faith will not fail and our foundation in Jesus Christ will not waver. We need to pray this not only for ourselves but for our sisters and brothers. Please pray it for our ministry, Women World Leaders, and all our leaders growing throughout the world.

When you can’t put your finger on a problem involving another, one of the things you can do is pray for that person in order that his or her faith will not fail. In fact, it’s always a good practice to pray for people whenever or wherever you are even before they ask. Pray for your sisters everywhere who serve God on the mission field, they need us to lift them before the Lord so their faith can remain strengthened. If you’re thinking of someone right now, pause to pray for them.

Are there any of us who don’t need to have stronger faith?

We also need to strengthen our sisters by lifting them to the Lord in prayer.  It’s just a gentle reminder and this verse confirms the encouragement. We need each other. Blessed be the tie that binds.
