EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us feel crushed under the weight of financial strain, illness, disabilities, young children with needs at home, or caring for grandkids for our struggling adult kids. Let’s face it, life is just plain difficult at times and not as easy as people make it look on social media.
Invite the Holy Spirit to come into whatever hardship you are facing and ask Him to transform it. He can bring joy to any situation if you ask Him to… Be reminded that there is a bigger picture in your life that calls for God’s intervention.
Our suffering will seem like nothing compared to the glory of God working in us if we take on the right mindset and proper reactions. I’ve watched it happen through my darkest days.. my mourning turned to joy. My worst struggle yet has become a lifted burden as I surrendered it ALL to Jesus. What seemed impossible for me to bear as my tallest mountain has become tolerable now because I have given it to Jesus in complete surrender and replaced it with joy in my heart as I serve Him. It’s my strength. He is my strength, my everything. I could have never imagined this to be true on my darkest days when I cried and cried thinking I could never get beyond my heart pain.
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18)
I never understood this verse until I began serving in ministry. Walking with God daily, hourly, moment by moment, and looking beyond my sadness has shown me that “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
…and YOU can too!
It won’t be until the closer you get to God that you truly realize NOTHING can separate you from His love! Not what you’re going through now, not what happened years ago, and not what will happen in the future. (Rom 8:38-39)
You will always have hope when you walk closely with Jesus each day!
Trials are like purifying fire and cleansing water, if you look at them in God’s way and through the power of His Word, you will not get burned nor drown.
Stay strong in your faith, trust in the Lord and not your own ways, it’s EVERYTHING you have! Trust in the POWER of the Holy Spirit working in you. He won’t leave you alone. He is your true friend and He will restore what may be lacking and bring unending joy to your aching heart. Ask Him and see.
