EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“My child, will you treasure wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it.
And only if you accept my advice and hide it within will you succeed.”
(Prov.2:1)
I can’t stress enough how we are to value godly wisdom. We need it! We should crave it. The Bible tells us, we should all desire it.
At a time in my life when I Mas making many  wrong decisions, bad choices and just kept messing up, I cried to God for “HIS WISDOM!” “Lord, please give me the wisdom you speak of in Your word, let it be Your wisdom and not the wisdom people in this world look for.”
The Bible also tells us that we should keep seeking wisdom like a man would seek for Sterling Silver and search for it in hidden places as a cherished treasure.
Wisdom is a gift from a generous God the Bible tells us in Proverbs.
Wisdom will guide us:
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.
 Proverbs 3:5-6
Don’t think for a moment that you know-it-all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.” (Proverbs 3:7)
Ladies, the Bible also tells us, “if any of you lacks wisdom you should go to God, ask Him. He will give abundantly to anyone who asks.”
(James 1:5)
When I read James 1:5, it hit me so very strongly that I committed right there at that moment to praying this James 1:5 scripture back to the Lord daily.  I did this every day for several years without missing a single day! That is how strongly I desired God’s wisdom and not the world’s.
I encourage you to memorize these important scriptures and hold them close at heart. The Bible tells us to “hide His word in our hearts that we may not sin against God.” (Psalm 119:11)
His word is truth and will satisfy your soul in every way.
