Going Deep
Sometimes the waves of life feel overwhelming—full of unknowns, risks, and questions that swirl beneath the surface.
As a mother watching her daughters head into deep waters, concern rises quickly. Will they be safe? Will they recognize their limits? Will they stay grounded?
And the truth is—those same questions apply to our spiritual lives.
Who are we surrounding ourselves with? Are we being pulled deeper into God’s truth—or further into the world’s distractions?
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17 NLT).
We were never meant to navigate life alone. We need people who encourage us, challenge us, and draw us closer to Christ.
It’s easy to drift. To get comfortable. To compromise little by little.
But God calls us deeper.
Deeper in faith.
Deeper in truth.
Deeper in relationship—with Him and with others who reflect Him.
So take a moment to reflect:
Who is influencing your life?
Are they pulling you closer to God—or away from Him?
Because the people you “go deep” with… matter more than you think.
