Adjusting to His Timing
Life often presents us with moments that require adjustment—unexpected changes, shifting directions, or decisions that don’t always make sense in the moment.
Jesus Himself modeled this beautifully.
There were times He stepped away from confrontation because it wasn’t yet His time. And other moments when He leaned in and met a need, even after saying the timing hadn’t come. His decisions weren’t driven by pressure or circumstance—but by purpose.
And that’s where the invitation lies for us.
“To everything there is a season… a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV).
How often do we move ahead of God’s timing? Or stay stuck when He’s calling us forward?
Jesus also showed us something powerful at the well. Before offering help, He asked for it. The One who had everything to give… chose to receive first.
What humility. What value He placed on another.
It’s a reminder that we all have something to offer—even in our need. Even in our brokenness.
So today, pause and ask:
Am I aligned with His timing?
Am I trusting His direction?
Am I willing to both give—and receive?
Because when we follow His lead, every step becomes purposeful.
