That’s Not Jesus
It often starts small—a single thought, a quiet whisper.
A seed.
If we’re not careful, that seed can take root, growing into doubt, fear, or shame. Before we know it, what once felt like peace is replaced with unrest. What once felt like joy is overtaken by heaviness.
But here’s the truth: not every thought comes from the Lord.
Scripture reminds us to dwell on what is true and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8), because what we meditate on will shape what grows within us. When we allow the wrong seeds to take root, we begin to believe lies that were never meant for us.
And that’s where the battle shifts.
Not in striving harder—but in speaking truth louder.
There is power in declaring what God says. Power in reminding your soul: That’s not Jesus. Fear? Not Jesus. Shame? Not Jesus. Confusion? Not Jesus.
Instead, we take hold of truth: I am a child of the King. I have authority.
“The Word of God is… the sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17).
So pick up your sword. Speak it. Sing it. Stand in it.
Victory doesn’t come from silence—it comes from truth.
