VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
BUT WHY?
There is a cry rising beneath the surface of our world—one that too often goes unheard.
We see people gathering, protesting, raising their voices for causes that matter. And yet, there is a quiet devastation happening every single day—children being trafficked, abused, and exploited—while so many look the other way.
Why?
Why is there not the same outrage for the most vulnerable among us? Children—precious, innocent, created by God—are being bought and sold, and still, silence lingers.
For some, it’s easier not to look. Easier to believe it could never happen close to home. But the truth is—it is happening. And for those who have lived it, silence cuts deeper than the wounds.
Scripture calls us higher.
“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.” (Isaiah 1:17 NIV)
What if we chose to respond instead of retreat? What if we allowed our hearts to be moved—not just emotionally, but into action?
This is not someone else’s fight. These are God’s children. And they are worth defending.
May we be people who refuse to stay silent. May we be the voice for those still waiting, still hoping, still asking… “Why won’t someone help me?”
