EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
One of the best ways we can love and trust God is in the moments of our waiting.
If we can all be honest with each other, waiting isn’t fun. The silence seems to hit you in your face constantly. When there is nothing happening that you are hoping for, your discouragement rises, and panic sets in.
“In that day they will say, “Behold! This is our God! We’ve waited for him and he saved us! This one, the Lord Yahweh-he is worth the wait! We will keep shouting with joy as we find our bliss in his salvation-kiss!” ( Isaiah 25:9) TPT
Waiting reveals things about ourselves and it oftentimes causes us to increase our faith. Increasing our faith is good. Love this scripture taken from the passion…Yahweh, He is worth the wait!
If you begin squirming and want to take over control, fight those feelings. The uncomfortable time you experience could be filled with lessons that you’ll miss if you’re busy trying to take matters into your own hands. Wait in God.
Don’t try to figure it out yourself, ask God to give you joy in your heart to draw closer to Him in these moments. He is worth the wait!
I’ve been in a wait for 5 years of my life. It’s not easy. I hear God say to me again and again, “Be still and know that I am God.” He is God. He is working. I have learned to trust Him for Who He is in the wait.
Find God in your wait. Draw nearer to Him. I have, and I can tell you that it’s only enhanced my life by having more of Him.
Let God teach you in the discomfort of waiting. It’s worth every moment of time if you lean into Him and learn trust. He is worth the wait.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
… yes, even in the wait.
