EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Marriage is a sacred covenant before God. We need to pray for our marriages. Even if you are single, your prayers of intercession for those you love who are married can be beneficial.
We have a crisis in marriages throughout our world. We need to pray protection over them and pray a shield over them from our own selfishness and any unhealthy or dangerous situations that may surround us.
Pray that there be no jealousy reigning in either person inside the marriage or anything within hearts that are habits that would threaten the union in any way. It’s good to keep marriages on our prayerful minds.
Can we pray together today?
“Dear Lord, we ask You to unite us as we stand together in prayer before You to have Godly marriages around us. Please protect these marriages, including my own. Protect them from any influence that may penetrate to sever the bond, like alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography, lust, or any obsessions.
God, please eliminate our immaturity, hostility, and feelings of inadequacy in our marriages today. Help us to carve out time for one another and remind us and our loved ones of the reasons for being married in the first place.
Please pray that our husbands within in these marriages would be committed first to You Lord, and their love for You will grow stronger so that their love for their mates will grow closer.
We pray over every marriage being prayed over at this very moment, may the faces we see before us as we pray, be those touched with the extended hand of Your grace and with Your guidance, filled with love and protection.
