Dancing with Jesus
There is something beautiful about surrendering control and allowing Jesus to lead.
So often, we want to determine the pace, direction, and timing of our lives. Yet true peace is found when we step into rhythm with the One who sees the entire journey ahead.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).
Each day, Jesus invites us to walk beside Him. He guides us, teaches us, protects us, and yes—even corrects us when necessary. His leadership is not harsh or demanding. It is loving, intentional, and full of grace.
I imagine life as a dance with my Savior.
He leads, and I follow.
As I spend time in His Word, His truth begins to settle deep within my heart. His Spirit gently prompts me to take the next step, trust Him with the next decision, and surrender the next area of my life.
Some days the path is smooth. Other days it feels rocky and uncertain. Yet through every season, He remains faithful. He never loses His footing, and He never lets go of His children.
What a gift to know that we do not have to navigate life alone.
The Lord sings over us, walks beside us, and lovingly leads us forward. He is preparing us for the day when we will worship Him face-to-face and rejoice in His presence forever.
Until then, may our prayer be simple:
Jesus, lead. I will follow.
Step by step. Day by day. Through every season.
You lead, I follow.
