EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE
The bigger we make God part of our lives, the less worried and less burdened we will become. God can handle it all.
As I’ve learned over the past month, being quite debilitated by my accident and day-to-day routines became very difficult for me. Life went on, and life will continue to go on whether I’m here or not.
People come, and people go in life, and so do our daily problems and the short-term and long-term burdens we carry. But when God becomes larger in your life (like how I praise Him daily with a grateful heart just to be living), I’ve noticed the bigger He’s become in my life. I see Him. I hear Him. I know He’s with me.
I felt I used to be pretty tight with God, but by praising Him more each day since I fell down those stairs backwards and lived, my problems in front of me that I now have to face have become smaller. God has gotten even bigger in my life as of late, and I can barely comprehend it all.
“The Lord is great and is to be highly praised; His greatness is beyond understanding.” (Psalm 145:3)
We don’t even have the brain capacity to fully understand just how great our God is. If we could, we would be God. But we are not!
Everything shifts when our perspective changes. My perspective changed during this recovery period of my accident. The problems I have and fleeting moments of being scared, worried or afraid and thoughts of how I will keep going? Or how we will pay all the hospital bills? Everything shifted! When? When I changed my view and just continued to praise God.
The bigger God looks in your life, the more you see Him as He is. You will comprehend how much God loves you and how He will never leave you. The more you magnify Him and choose to praise Him for EVERYTHING, the more He reveals Himself to you. Yes, your life becomes so meager compared to what God is inside of your being. Your little becomes much when God is able to have room in your life!
“I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify Him with Thanksgiving. ” (Psalm 69:50)
Run to God no matter what you are going through. Never leave Him out.
