EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
It’s quite difficult to imagine that things happen to us so that the glory and power of God can be revealed in and through us. Many of us don’t pause to think there is a greater picture going on than that of what we only see in front of our eyes.
Many times, we do not understand why we have to go through difficult situations until we go to be with the Lord, but when we turn to God in the midst of our difficulties, God’s glory can be seen in the situation and in you.
I’d love to be the first to tell you that every time you rise above the pain in your life and find the goodness, clarity and peace of the Lord where you are, your faith will increase!… But I may be the first and only one who shares this…
Give God the opportunity to meet you in the midst of your pain right this moment, whatever you are facing. Give God all your glory and praise Him in spite of your hurting or trial. God may not only perfect you at this moment but increase your compassion for the sufferings of others who are facing terrible things this season when you see them.
Change your perspective and think about this in your own situation. As you continue to live in the presence of the Lord – even this very day, allow His glory to be revealed in you, and it will be!
“…As sure as the sun rises, God will appear. He will come to us like the winter rains and the spring rains that water the earth”.
(Hosea 6:3)
God is continuously moving in your life whether you choose to believe it or not. He holds you right where you are and waters your thirsty soul. He encompasses every bit of your pain so you can see beyond it to a brighter day ahead. It’s called Hope. Allow Him room today for your brighter tomorrow.
