How many of us run to friends with prayer requests that are “laced” with worry in some way or another? Worry about the “what if’s”, worry about our tomorrow’s, worry about present circumstances…worry, worry and more worry. I face it too, and I get it.
Worry comes at a time of crisis.
Worry is a killer. Apprehension kills your mind.
Worry is the mother of cancer, high blood pressure, heart failure and more.

EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

How many of us run to friends with prayer requests that are “laced” with worry in some way or another? Worry about the “what if’s”, worry about our tomorrow’s, worry about present circumstances…worry, worry and more worry. I face it too, and I get it.
Worry comes at a time of crisis.
Worry is a killer. Apprehension kills your mind.
Worry is the mother of cancer, high blood pressure, heart failure and more.

God says not to worry, He says, “I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you”. Jos.1:5

Worry is sin.

God gives us 2 dominating words through out His Bible. “FEAR NOT”!

Joshua 1:9 Be not afraid!

Fear not, fear not, fear not…

The great physician arrives at our invitation. We need to invite Him in and fear no further. Psalm 1:1-3

God tells you in His word:
You will climb impossible mountains!
1,000 will fall at your right hand, 10,000 at your left.
God gives of the best of things in the worst of times!
Worry is just a polluted stream in our minds, filter it with prayer and God’s transcending Words.

What are we worried about?

Does God not attend the funeral of every sparrow that dies? HE DOES!!!
Are you not more valuable than them? YOU ARE.
Matthew 6:26

Every page in Gods word defies what we worry about. Why do we worry?

Don’t be pulled in different directions or worry about a single thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ
(Phil.4:6)

Let us cling to the promises of His Word!
