EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

Let’s go on a “faith walk” with God today. Think of something in your life right this minute that you might be lacking faith in…got it? Now, can you surrender that to God in faith, believing He hears you? Read on because God hears our needs.

When we take a “faith walk,” it can be a time of intimacy with God. We can follow His lead, knowing He will lead us to rely more on Him in both big and small ways through whatever it is you need to build your faith in.

When God calls us out to give up something in surrender or to grow in faith, whether it is to engage or disengage with difficult conversation, to travel somewhere very far, or not…to reach out to total strangers, or to attempt something that’s far bigger than we are, yes, it can scare us to death, but it can also be exhilarating if we trust God and grow our faith. It can draw us very close to our Lord.

These kinds of faith experiences can be God opportunities. Let’s try to look at them as exciting, positive and having an outcome that will glorify God.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Would God lead you somewhere to abandon you? Of course not.

These faith experiences may be scary, risky and inconvenient, but if we cover our eyes and bury our heads, we will miss an opportunity to be part of an everyday miracle in our faith.

Please try a “faith walk,” and it might even be today if you are ready. Watch what God will do with your life when you step out in faith. God will never leave you or abandon you. Hopefully, you can try this soon and surrender and exercise a big leap of faith to do something with God.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
