Delays Are Not Denials
Years ago, I went through a refining period in my life. God brought me through a painful, yet necessary cleansing. It wasn’t easy and soon after I found myself closer to God but “in the waiting.”
In my place of loneliness and delay waiting for a mate, I learned obedience. The Lord taught me about purity of heart, kingdom motivation, serving with excellence, and knowing I must possess a good attitude at all times. It was there that I thrived. I learned to trust God in that place. In the learning, not in the waiting.
Are you in a place where something going on right now is stretching you? Please “be still” and learn to thrive where you are with God. It may be here that He wants you to stay for a period of time. It may be the now but soon and very soon if you learn what God has in the now, you will be elevated to the next place.
After a time, God released me from the place that seemed so hard to handle and as I look back, I want to encourage you with this…”I would not trade that time for anything, not even my life because it gave me the life I now live for Christ!” ( and a husband I could never have imagined having, He’s perfect, for me.)
“God has had it with the proud, but takes delight in just plain people. So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; He will promote you at the right time. Live care free before God; He is most careful with you.”
