EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“Wealth and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give thanks and praise your glorious name.” (1 Chronicles 29:12-13)
When I read this scripture, I can’t help but think of all the beauty in each gift that was provided to this ministry. People give generously in many different ways when they believe in something.
The giving of others touches lives, and we offer praises to God for it. We exalt God and recognize Him as the Ultimate Supplier of all things.
What more appropriate way to acknowledge God is head over everything than by contributing generously to the building of any ministry that spreads the gospel of Christ and the message of hope to all. What better way to show trust in God’s future faithfulness than to give from the abundance of His present faithfulness? We can give in our time, talents, and tithes as God leads.
King David urged people to praise and to give God from their earthly treasures as well as giving praise to Him from their whole hearts.
Powerful prayer includes extensive praise to God for His generosity. It also includes giving to God out of a praise filled heart. To do otherwise shows that we revere our possessions more than our God, who has given us all we have.
I encourage you to give to something that God speaks to you about but to give from a healthy heart that has been blessed by God. Also give God praise for all He will do with your generous giving. Believe that He will use your giving to provide further provisions for others because He says in His word that He will!
Maybe even now as it is the end of the year, you will be able to give in a way you have never done before. Think about it, pray over it, and take a step of faith into it.❤🙏
