How often do you pause to think about eternity? Many of us who are very sick or very old may think about it a lot more than those of us who are young and healthy.
When we can understand the goodness of God and His love for us, His ability to fight with power for us, and His purpose for us, we learn the value of the power of God’s promises. His promises are true.
God tells us eternity is ours and His promises are true, and we are on this earth for such a short amount of time. It’s but a vapor in a mirror!
With God’s character alive in us, we can live in a reality we can’t see, and we can live like we were created for a different place, a different space, and another world we can’t see. The Bible tells us no eye has seen what He has prepared for us.
Eternity is a long time! Heaven is a real place. I believe we all want an eternity with God. God wants us to live with Him in the place He has prepared for us.
“All creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who His children really are.” ( Romans 8:19)
God is preparing a place for us, and it is eternal. Jesus is coming again for us. These are promises. All creation groans for the day to find out about our eternal home. Are you ready for eternity? Today might just be the day you step into eternity.
