Embrace Courage
“This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
We all could use courage. I muster up courage at needed times when I have to, but I’m the first one to get weak in the knees when I feel an attack coming on. When I read different scriptures, like the one I’m sharing today, they leave lasting impressions and confidence for my soul. This is one of them I hold close to my heart and it’s a great one to have memorized.
Embracing courage is not always easy. It could be a challenge and sometimes easier said than done. When we are facing difficult situations, God is with us. His focus is on you. He watches over you! He promises and His promises are true.
Our thoughts can take us in many directions when faced with a battle. Approaching what you are facing with strength takes courage to do so. We need to hold on to our faith and not fall at the fears that flock into our heads and race through our minds.
I ask God for a tenacious, audacious heart to go after whatever it is that is tripping me up or holding me back from fighting! Sometimes it’s just something He wants me to learn. It might be the same for you.
You are God’s warrior, more than a conqueror in Christ.
With the God of the galaxies who never ever leaves, why should any of us worry about our next step of faith? We shouldn’t because God’s got us! He has us completely. We are His and He is ours.
Let’s be the brave and beautiful women He has called us to be for Him and in the Name of Jesus. Go with Him today and walk in boldness and courage.
