Double Doozy of Change
Have you ever tried to change your routine and wondered… why is this so hard?!
Recently, the Lord gave me what I call a “double doozy” of change—wake up earlier AND keep a daily calendar. 😳
Now, I’m not naturally a morning person. My brain usually kicks in around 2 pm. So waking up earlier? That alone felt like a miracle in progress.
But God wasn’t just asking me to change my schedule—He was inviting me into transformation.
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)
Freedom… to change.
And not just surface-level change, but transformation into His image.
That means letting go of my way and embracing His way—even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when it means alarms, schedules, and functioning before noon. 😂
Change is a daily choice. A surrendered choice.
And the truth is, God gives us everything we need to walk it out.
“He can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.” — Ephesians 3:20
Even in us.
So here I am—learning to be “Red Carpet Ready” in a whole new way.
Not perfectly polished… but fully surrendered.
