EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

How many times do we put on a fake smile and shove our fears below the surface?

We know very well the enemy takes every opportunity to trip us up again and again yet  we refuse to deal with our fears and insecurities and inability to move ahead. We shove feelings down deep inside, resulting in a stomachache of deception to ourselves. We learn at a young age to cover up what we feel and not deal with them head on.

Through our lifetime, we are learning there is just not enough make up to cover up all of our imperfections and we drown in a pool of unending doubts.

Jesus has no desire to expose our nakedness to a world sneering and glaring. He hides us in the shadow of His wing. Psalm 91:1 (in fact read the entire chapter about His protection) It will bring comfort to your soul. I read it continuously,  especially when I’m hurting and God always brings a happier thought.

God uncovers a lie so He can replace it with truth and the truth brings freedom which brings inner joy! Remember this. He puts truth where there was once a lie and doubt and then we gain confidence and credibility with clarity where there once was brokenness and confusion.

Psalm 51:6 says, “Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.”

Oh, how good is the God who loves us that much. He created us and gives us wisdom on top of that. We serve a protective God that when our fears rise up, God will surely defend and deliver us. May we look to Him in our every fear, or doubt about ourselves or when we try to cover our nakedness. Be real with God. He knows everything already, before you go to Him. But go, He wants you next to Him and He wants to commune with you. ❤️
