EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
God wants anger, bitterness, and hatred out of our hearts. He provides His Word for truth for us, you, our sisters, and our brothers in Christ.
Unforgiveness inside the hearts of His sons and daughters should not be there. He also wants to eliminate any form of jealousy and promote true love. That is our God. He is a God who loves us all.
The only way to do this is for each of us to daily examine our lives and to become better about who we are in Christ, not bitter. We need to extend love, patience, and forgiveness and not react hastily to another person who offends us.
Me, I’ll share when these issues arise in me, and yes, sometimes they try to hit me; l work on them right away by confessing it to my Lord immediately when it happens or soon thereafter. When I feel something rising up that isn’t “God-honoring,” I recognize it, confess it when God convicts me, and quickly get it behind me.
In the past, I could easily get “set off,” and anger would rise. If I were wronged, I’d let it brew and not deal. I’ve experienced  “holding it in,” which only brings me into harmful captivity with my thoughts.
My hurt feelings would turn to rejection, and the devil would try his hardest to get me to stay there in “brain bondage”(not able to release the incident).
When this would happen, the incident would fester. If it’s not confessed, it’s left for the enemy to play with, or it can turn into sin.
I’m learning to release every form of unforgiveness, no matter how it could approach me. I release any anger that may overshadow me by confessing it immediately to Jesus. I can tell you, it works every time. He hears and cares and helps!
EVERY TIME!
God’s truth in love brings freedom.
Bitterness can have far-reaching, long-lasting, self-destructive effects if left to simmer!
When we accept Christ’s forgiveness for our sins, God moves. He not only equips us to forgive others,  He commands it.
Replace bitterness with love.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking; it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…(1 Corinthians 4-8)
I think if we’re honest, we can all learn and grow even stronger from focusing on this portion of scripture and hiding it in our hearts 💕.
