VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Hustle Culture vs. God Culture

In today’s world, hustle culture is everywhere.
We’re told that if we want success, we must work harder, do more, and never slow down. For years, I believed that mindset. I wore busyness like a badge of honor.

As a mom, wife, business owner, and ministry leader, the hustle seemed unavoidable.
But eventually God began renewing my perspective.

Scripture reminds us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)

I realized something life-changing: true joy isn’t found in constant striving.
Hustle culture promises success but often delivers exhaustion. It pushes us to chase achievements while missing the beauty of the present moment.

God’s culture is different.

God’s culture invites us to slow down and pay attention to His will in each season of life. What success looks like for one person may be completely different for another.

The world may say we must do everything.
God says we don’t have to.

When I finally released control and allowed God to guide my path, something unexpected happened: I discovered real joy and peace.

Psalm 16:11 says, “You will fill me with joy in your presence.”
True fulfillment doesn’t come from the hustle.
It comes from walking closely with God.
