EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

God cares!

As tragedy happens throughout time, it’s normal to feel like life comes to a complete standstill. It could be anything in each of our lives that strikes us unaware.

It’s normal that everything comes to a complete halt at these times. I can experience days like this myself, the hardship hits and BAM, I’m stopped in my tracks. I may take a complete day and not be able to get out of my pajamas!  But, it’s ok…

“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

(John 16:33)

In this verse, Jesus acknowledges that the Christian life will not be easy, but He also promises that we have a greater hope in the world to come!

We cannot even keep track of our own tossings and tears—how much does our heavenly Father love us that He knows and remembers each time we cry? In the midst of heartache, we can take comfort in the knowledge that God has not abandoned us. He is watching over us and loves us.

You just can’t see it yet and even though it’s hard for us to imagine that the future could be any different from now, healing and restoration are happening my friends.

You won’t always feel this way, there will be an end, God’s promises are true. Don’t try to get around the suffering, let God get His arms around you! Take the moments with God. If you walk step by step with Him through it all, your pain will actually subside. Reach up and grasp the hand of your heavenly Father.

Your Father wants to comfort you and shoulder your grief. Even if your well of tears does not seem to run dry, God’s presence with you will allow you to walk through the river of grief to the other side. God will provide enough light for your next step. Trust Him. I’m living proof that where He is, I am comforted.

“God’s tracks, take us to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss; that’s where He restores and revives my life.”

Psalm 23: 2-3 Tpt.

I pray this helps you.
