Some ways are right, some ways are not. We can not confuse the two. They become very clear and God shows us the way when we seek Him. Obedience is key.
God says when we seek Him, we will find Him. (Jeremiah 29:13) and when we do, He shows us the right way. At that point, we have a choice to make regarding obedience.
When we obey God, we are protected. If we obey God, He will give us the answers we need with His revelation, which allows us to get where we need to go. When we obey God we can be led by Him.
When we obey God, we see answers to our prayers.
The Bible tells us, “receive from Him anything we ask because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.” (1 John 3:23)
There is a direct correlation between Obedience and prayer. Do you see it?
We obey because we genuinely love God and are grateful to Him for our life. By living in obedience, we will develop a strong desire to have nothing separate us from God. God does not want us to live in the gut-wrenching misery that comes from the absence of obedience to Him.
Ask God if there are specific steps of obedience He wants you to take. He will tell you. Communicate with your Father. Please don’t start your day without prayer.
