VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Beautiful One
He sees me.
The Lover of my soul sees me—not merely as I appear today, but as the woman He created me to become. I am His delight. He watches over my coming and going, even as I sleep. Nothing about my life escapes His loving attention.
When He looks at me, He sees beauty I sometimes struggle to recognize in myself. He sees His Son living within me. He sees beyond my mistakes, poor choices, disappointments, and the pain I’ve experienced in this broken world. He sees the fullness of who I am becoming in Him.
So I keep looking into the mirror of His Word, allowing His truth to wash over me again and again.
I am His beloved daughter. A daughter of the Most High King.
Scripture reminds me that God clothes His people with salvation and righteousness (Isaiah 61:10). What a beautiful picture of His love! A royal robe prepared for me. A crown of beauty placed upon my head. Treasures of His goodness filling the deepest places of my heart.
And still, He knows everything. He knows my fears, my doubts, my uncertainty, and even the anger I sometimes struggle to surrender. Nothing surprises Him. Nothing causes Him to turn away from the daughter He loves.
Instead, I picture Him reaching toward me with nail-scarred hands, lifting the veil from my face and inviting me to see myself through His eyes.
Beloved. Forgiven. Beautiful. And here’s the wonderful truth: He sees you this way, too.
Our Heavenly Father knows us completely and loves us deeply. We are His treasured daughters, created for relationship with Him and invited to rest in His presence. So when the mirror reflects your imperfections, remember that God’s love sees beyond them.
You are His. You are seen. And you are beautiful to Him.
