On God’s Watch
Sometimes life feels overwhelming. The obstacles appear larger than our faith, and discouragement whispers that victory is impossible.
But God sees a different picture.
Ezra 5:5 tells us, “The eye of their God was watching over the elders…”
What a comforting reminder. God is watching. He sees every challenge, every setback, every unanswered prayer, and every battle you are facing. Nothing escapes His attention. Too often we focus on what is happening around us instead of remembering who is watching over us.
The Lord is our source of strength and peace.
Psalm 29:11 declares, “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.”
When opposition arises, it’s easy to believe the enemy has the final word. But God’s plans cannot be stopped by fear, failure, rejection, or delay.
On God’s watch, defeats become testimonies. On God’s watch, setbacks become setups for His glory. On God’s watch, what seems impossible becomes possible through His power.
The same God who watched over His people in Ezra’s day is watching over you today.
He is working behind the scenes, preparing hearts, opening doors, and fulfilling every promise He has spoken over your life.
So don’t give up. Don’t lose heart. Trust Him. Continue walking in obedience, knowing that the One who called you is faithful.
You are not facing life alone.
You’re on God’s watch.
And when you’re on God’s watch, the best place to be is watching Him work.
