VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Asking God for the Impossible

Have you ever faced a situation so overwhelming that it seemed impossible? A prodigal child, a broken relationship, a devastating diagnosis, or a prayer that has gone unanswered for years?
Scripture reminds us that impossible situations are often the very places where God reveals His power.

Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).

Throughout the Bible, we see God doing what only He can do. He parted the Red Sea, provided children to barren women, raised the dead, healed the sick, and fed thousands with a few loaves and fish. Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Yet one of the greatest miracles of prayer is not always what happens around us—it’s what happens within us.

Prayer changes our hearts. It strengthens our faith. It deepens our trust. It teaches us to depend on God instead of our own understanding.

When we bring impossible situations before Him, we are reminded that He is able. We are also reminded that His timing is perfect. Delay does not mean denial.

Jesus encouraged us to ask, seek, and knock. Persistent prayer demonstrates confidence in God’s character, even when we cannot yet see the answer.

Jeremiah 32:27 asks, “Is anything too hard for me?”
The answer is no.
Whatever impossible prayer you are carrying today, keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. God specializes in doing what human effort cannot accomplish.

As daughters of the Most High King, we serve a God who is omnipotent, sovereign, and faithful. He still works wonders. He still answers prayer. And He still delights in showing His glory through impossible situations.

Nothing is impossible with God.
